Welcome to the home page of Yoav Arava's lab
in the Department of Biology
of the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
Our main research interests are:
- Regulation of translation by signaling cascades.
- Cis and trans elements that mediate mRNA localization to cellular compartments.
We utilize the yeast S. cerevisiae as a model organism to explore these topics.

Positions available:
There is always space for additional highly motivated students, with great interest in science.
Possible projects range from functional genomics analyses of gene expression program
to in vitro studies of RNA-protein interactions.
