Maya joins us from Stanford University, where she recently completed her postdoctoral work in the Genetics Department of the School of Medicine.
Maya Maor-Nof studies the cell biology of neuronal and axonal survival and degeneration. She seeks to understand how disrupted regulatory mechanisms contribute to the pathogenesis of complex neurodegenerative diseases.
We believe that Maya will be a significant addition to the faculty and will make substantial and meaningful contributions to research and teaching in her field.
