The Faculty of Biology mourns the death of Private Asif Logger, of Kibbutz Yagur,
a fighter in the 77th Battalion, the “Saar of the Golan” formation, who fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip on October 31, 2023.
Asif was 21 years old when he died.
We extend our condolences to his mother, Dr. Adi Livne, a graduate of the Faculty of Biology and a lecturer in the faculty.
We extend our condolences to his grandfather, Dr. Alex Livne, a former master’s and doctoral student in the Faculty of Biology laboratory of Professor Emeritus Shimon Gepstein.
We join the family in their grief.
