Tenure-track faculty position

The Faculty of Biology at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position.

We particularly encourage applications from candidates working to gain mechanistic insights into biological processes in any field of the Life Sciences. The successful candidate is expected to develop an innovative and independent, externally-funded research program and teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses.

Candidates must have a Ph.D., or equivalent, and post-doctoral training. The position will be offered at a rank commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications.

The application package should include the following in a single pdf file:

  • Cover letter
  • CV and list of publications
  • Research statement
  • Teaching statement
  • A list of up to 6 referees that can evaluate the applicant’s academic achievements.

The research statement should include a brief description of potential collaborations and synergies with existing faculty members in the Faculty of Biology or other faculty members at the Technion.
